[ Tsukasa has seen many things since his time in Imeeji. That includes demons, of course. But somehow, in all that time, he had never been chased by a horde of humanoid crocodile-like creatures. And that isn't easy to do in his current footwear while running across a desert.]

Are you serious right now!?

[His wings are beating frantically, but they aren't lifting him into the air at all. He shoots an arrow and lands a blow toward one of the creatures, but they are quickly gaining ground and it isn't as though he has enough arrows to take them all out. He switches to his sword instead.]

I am not ready to get eaten by a bunch of crocodile demons!

|| ACTION :: Flight Attempts & Magic ||

[He really doesn't know what is wrong with his wings. They never worked properly when he was on Imeeji proper, but during the vague time that... hmm? His memories feel scattered, but he is sure they worked while he was in hell proper. Even more alarming is the fact that he cannot seem to summon any of his swords or hold his balance as he should. Did his Avante powers vanish just like that?

Dramatically he tosses a hand out, as though maybe he just needs to the proper hand gesture.]

YIYA~

[ . . . But nothing happens. Oh, come on!]

[If he is stuck here, then at the very least he is going to have to get a little bit of money if he wants to afford... literally anything. Which is how he has found himself with the local maahes breeders. Breeding is incredibly out of his wheelhouse, but apparently, they enjoy music. And music is something he can do.

And what is more... they are such majestic-looking beasts. *O* He wants one. He wants one so badly. He wants to ride one at the very least.

Which is why he can be found...

A.) singing a love song to help inspire the majestic beasts to... er. Well... love each other.

Or...

B.) He is gallantly riding one for a job well done. And seems to be doing so rather smoothly?]

Pardon me. My name is Tsukasa Suou. I am searching for some friends if they are here or if anyone has heard of or seen them? Namely, Persicaria... or Emu. Natsume... though he may more accurately respond to Kohaku. Ritsu, Leo, Sena, or Tenshouin.

Lastly, anyone familiar with Avante en Garde, I would very much like to see and reconvene with you.

Thank you in advance. I hope to get to know everyone else here, and that we find a way back to our respective homes soon.

OH! And one other thing? Please let me know if they sell sunscreen here. It is much too sunny and hot. Thank you again.

[Squeezing her gently, but tight, he cannot help but smile. He was so worried when he awoke here that he might not easily see her again. He doens't wish for her to be in trouble or a dangerous situation. Nothing of the sort. But there is a sense of relief, too, that she is here in his arms.

He pulls back enough to press a kiss to her cheek.]

When did you get here? How did you arrive?

[Giggling, she smiles even wider when he kisses her cheek. Keeping most of her worries close to her chest, she had wondered how things would go. But now... she can't bring herself to worry even a little.]

Mmm... I woke up maybe an hour or two ago? It wasn't long at all, promise. But I really don't know how... I was dreaming and everything seemed normal at first but... I woke up in the desert and--

[Well there were a lot of things this could be but none of them felt right. Something felt off, even for the kind of stuff they were used to.]

It's not, huh?

[He shakes his head.]

If this is a game, it is not like any sort of game I have witnessed before.

[Is it truly possible they escaped...? It feels so bizarre to think that they have. What about...the other important people to them though?]

I also had a strange dream and woke up... in the empty crockpot of a bunch of crocodile men.

Me neither. It feels a little like that first day all over again. But no one really knows what's going on or has answers this time...

[The thought of escaping was a wonderful one but... she can't help but feel like they got out of one mess and into a new one.]

--eh?? Wasn't it hot? Did it smell good? They didn't try to take a bite did they?!

[It starts out as curiosity but she becomes more and more energetic with each question as she tries to get a good look at him and make sure he's not hurt anywhere.]

[At the very least he doesn't appear injured. There are no visible marks. He smiles sheepishly.]

Fortunately, the pot was not warm when I awoke in it. It was empty, save for myself. As for the rest, they tried to take a bite, but I managed to escape with a bit of help.

[They aren't completely free of sin but she'll forgive them this once since Tsukasa managed to get free without too much trouble. But she hates it took ]

I'm so glad you're safe. Next time you're in trouble I'll definitely come running!!

Ehhhh? Can't it be both our lines then? Don't worry-- I know who will save me if I'm ever in trouble.

[Trying to stop Emu is like trying to stop a force of nature. It will never work. Not only is she strong and courageous, but once her mind is set on something, she goes at it full throttle.]

You save me already every single day.

[Reaching down he grasps her hand to thread their fingers.]

But you are right. We are a team. We can conquer this challenge together, too.

[After feeling like she's spent so much time having to face everything on her own... having people now that she knows she can rely on and fight with means the whole world to her. All that joy beams brightly in her smile.]

Eheheh... that's right! There's nothing we can't get through as long as we're together!

[A bit softer, she adds--]

So... thank you... for always being here by my side.

[He leans down to bump his forehead to hers.]

Always.

[His grip gently tightens.]

We should search this place for more familiar faces. If we are both here, perhaps Koha-kun is as well.

[Emu nods her head, gently rocking her forehead against his, not ready to pull away just yet.]

[There are other people she's worried about too if others from Tokyo-F might have found their way here. It's hard to say which would be better or worse at this point-- all they can do is look for answers.]

We gotta find a safe place we can stay, too. And lots of other stuff... But if Kohaku-kun is here then we'll definitely find him!

[ . . . They need to find a safe place to stay. It implies... that they would be staying there together.

N-Naturally, he would not want her staying alone somewhere when it could be dangerous. But also, that feels like a very intimate step. Not...that they haven't already been close! But living together...]

There... are some abandoned houses. More like shipping containers that have been remodeled. I found one that I have sort of claimed as mine. They do not have proper doors and are very small, but... at the very least, they are better than nothing.

[Heehee... Tsukasa isn't very subtle, what he's thinking is written all over his face. But she loves that about him.

It's true that she'd feel better having him close... she's never been on her own after all. But she doesn't want to put him in a position where he feels pressured if it will make him sad or uncomfortable.

So... she puts on her brightest smile.]

--oh! You should show me~ Maybe I can even find another one close to it!
