Who: Tsukasa and you!
When: Arrival days
Where: Sunspire and Beyond
Warnings: n/a
|| ACTION :: MAKARAS DASH ||
[ Tsukasa has seen many things since his time in Imeeji. That includes demons, of course. But somehow, in all that time, he had never been chased by a horde of humanoid crocodile-like creatures. And that isn't easy to do in his current footwear while running across a desert.]
Are you serious right now!?
[His wings are beating frantically, but they aren't lifting him into the air at all. He shoots an arrow and lands a blow toward one of the creatures, but they are quickly gaining ground and it isn't as though he has enough arrows to take them all out. He switches to his sword instead.]
I am not ready to get eaten by a bunch of crocodile demons!
|| ACTION :: Flight Attempts & Magic ||
[He really doesn't know what is wrong with his wings. They never worked properly when he was on Imeeji proper, but during the vague time that... hmm? His memories feel scattered, but he is sure they worked while he was in hell proper. Even more alarming is the fact that he cannot seem to summon any of his swords or hold his balance as he should. Did his Avante powers vanish just like that?
Dramatically he tosses a hand out, as though maybe he just needs to the proper hand gesture.]
YIYA~
[ . . . But nothing happens. Oh, come on!]
|| ACTION :: Singing & Riding ||
[If he is stuck here, then at the very least he is going to have to get a little bit of money if he wants to afford... literally anything. Which is how he has found himself with the local maahes breeders. Breeding is incredibly out of his wheelhouse, but apparently, they enjoy music. And music is something he can do.
And what is more... they are such majestic-looking beasts. *O* He wants one. He wants one so badly. He wants to ride one at the very least.
Which is why he can be found...
A.) singing a love song to help inspire the majestic beasts to... er. Well... love each other.
Or...
B.) He is gallantly riding one for a job well done. And seems to be doing so rather smoothly?]

Pardon me. My name is Tsukasa Suou. I am searching for some friends if they are here or if anyone has heard of or seen them? Namely, Persicaria... or Emu. Natsume... though he may more accurately respond to Kohaku. Ritsu, Leo, Sena, or Tenshouin.
Lastly, anyone familiar with Avante en Garde, I would very much like to see and reconvene with you.
Thank you in advance. I hope to get to know everyone else here, and that we find a way back to our respective homes soon.
OH! And one other thing? Please let me know if they sell sunscreen here. It is much too sunny and hot. Thank you again.

Ayase-senpai...? You?
no subject
[They both look ...different than what one might recall from home.]
Y-Yes, it's me.
[His ears are cute, though. Ahem.]
Has it been some time since we last spoke...?
no subject
Quite so. I was...
[ . . . It might be difficult to explain what Imeeji is right now.]
I was in a very strange place for quite a while, and now I have found myself here. Truly, I am at a loss as to how though.
[He glances back up to the older teen.]
You look a little different with shorter hair? Not bad... simply different. But... [Hah-] I imagine I look a little strange to you too.
no subject
[He looks different, but he still sounds like the Tsukasa-san he knows. Considering the things he has lived through, his appearance is less of a shock than an a Mayoi fresh from home. Mayoi tucks some of his short hair behind his ear.]
Y-Yes, though it would be rude of me to ask after such a thing! I will say it all looks very fetching on you. A-Ah, if that isn't an inappropriate thing to say, of course...
no subject
Thank you. Though they will certainly cause a stir if I cannot find a way to be rid of them by the time we return home.
[Though he has no idea how to do that here. Or how he even managed to get here in the first place. For all he knows, it is just another strange game he has been put into. But if that is the cause, it is unlike any he has experienced in the past, and can't even be sure of the objective.]
I can explain things as best I can, but perhaps we should find somewhere else to do that? I can collect my pay and we can find a more comfortable location.
no subject
Yes...that would be terribly difficult to explain.
[He nods, though. He had sort of interrupted his work. He clasps his hands in front of him.]
Of course, please do not mind me. I will be waiting until you are ready.
no subject
I apologize for keeping you. I thought it was important that I find something by way of funds. I have no idea how long we will be stuck here, and what I earned back in Imeeji has not transferred alongside me.
no subject
Not at all, it is good to be proactive, Tsukasa-san. The last place I was operated largely on a bartering system. Having ...some sort of currency is strangely comforting...
[But! Since they are ready to go.]
Have you a place in mind...? Or shall we walk until we find a quiet place.
no subject
[Tsukasa too. He glances as they walk until he spots an... inn. It seems.]
How about in there? Surely these caps should cover something, and we can find a table to sit at and chat.
no subject
[It was awful but there were things that came of it that he does not regret.]
Ah... that will do, I think.
[Hopefully it isn't too busy in there, but given what he has seen of this place so far, he is cautiously optimistic.]
O-Of course I can't allow Tsukasa-san to spend the money he just earned. Please allow me to treat...
no subject
Are you sure...? I just got paid, and I cannot imagine you have been here much longer than I have been?
no subject
I have been here a few days and ...I have some skill in descending into places like the ruins. I have made enough to buy ...an old friend a sweet treat. I-If that is okay! I would understand if you find that repulsive...
no subject
[His tail, perhaps, gives away his excitement for a sweet treat. It wags behind him happily in contrast to his otherwise calm demeanor.]
no subject
Ooooooooh, look at his tail…
Stop thinking about how much he’d like to pet it… that’s filthy Mayoi! Stop!]
Y-Yes! I am glad to hear that, l-let’s see what the menu has…
It’s been some time since I’ve had anything sweet myself, fufu~
no subject
[Aha... with that concerning thing said:]
Hopefully, we will not have anything to worry about here. ♪
no subject
[At least until they visited that town. Mayoi shamefully indulged on as many as possible...]
Oh- [Wait sorry what.]
S-Spiked!? What suspicious sort of person would do such a thing!? N-Not me! [Oh, why did he say that. Mayoi will just bury his face in the menu.]
no subject
[He truly sounds as though the place he was before was a somewhat harsh situation to wind up in.]
This... Nest place. It was not a production set of any kind?
no subject
N-No, it was not. How should I put this ...
It was like we had boarded a train to hell itself. It was a desolate, European style village amidst a harsh winter. The fog was full of wayward spirits, the ground full of restless undead and the sky beheld a moon that blinked like an eye, watching us toil through a microscope.
no subject
[Perhaps what they have experienced isn't so different in the end. He becomes quiet for a moment, staring at the table in front of him. The moon watching them... could have been some sort of demonic camera, perhaps? But Mayoi seems convinced it wasn't some sort of production.]
I see. Do you... know why you were brought there, to begin with?
no subject
...
[Tsukasa asks a good question and he ...shakes his head.]
No. It was all very mysterious from start to finish. I ...what I remember last, I don't believe we had gotten close to finding out, either.
no subject
[Still. That is mysterious. He has more answers regarding Tokyo-F. They just aren't satisfying ones, even if he understands it.]
Not even on a method home?
no subject
[He remembered having to talk up someone just to get the summoning book, and there is, once more, a suspicious hole in his memory over what happened afterwards. Bad!!! Bad!!!]
For that... We were told to simply wait and the train would take us back. That ...did not feel honest to us.
no subject
[Though he supposes that depends on the demon. There are a few he knows who decided to embrace demons and become one themselves. He still isn't exactly sure what to think of it all, but neither can he blame them. Especially his senpais...
A waitress approaches, and he gives her his order, allowing the pause in their discussion to give him some time to think. Once she wonders off, his brows crease.]
It sounds, to me, as though we were sent to two very different places. Demons appear to be the commonality. I suppose I do not trust that we have not been wrapped up in another demon's ploys here.
[His time in Tokyo-F... while there were certainly good memories, many were tragic. He'll carry the scars of those forever.]
I was kidnapped... by hell. Heaven fell, and in a faction war, two sides that were willing to incorporate human souls into their plans nabbed individuals from a multitude of universes and realities. Those they captured were sorted onto units, where we were forced to compete against other units in both silly and traumatic games for the entertainment of demons. It was reality television, where our lives were an amusement to all those who watched, and the two factions warred for us to choose them after subjecting us to numerous trials.
[They were idols. But... not in the musical sense. Not in any sort of way that they could have ever hoped for or desired.]
Over time, many students from Yumenosaki Academy appeared. Some living, and others... having died and been pieced back together by the demons themselves, and contracted to them.
no subject
[Somehow hearing Tsukasa's end of it. He feels less worried about that. It's horrific all on it's own in ways Mayoi could scarcely imagine. How could they have been sent to two vastly different, but equally horrible Hells?]
Tsukasa-san...
[What can he even say. This is somehow way harder than the last time he wanted to offer him comfort. Back then, he at least knew what he could say.]
Y-yes...I think you're right. Our respective Hells seem to be different, but they at least have cruelty in common. How utterly vile... to take the concept of an idol and twist it so.
[He's so useless, offering shallow words of comfort like this, though. His desire to reach out and hug him are strong, but he knows not how this Tsukasa would react to such a thing...it would be presumptuous and rude.]
I am ...pessimistic at best, but I hope with my entire heart, that we may never see those places again.
no subject
[It is all they can do, ultimately, as much as he dislikes it. The feeling of waiting for the other shoe to drop is unpleasant. He attempts to smile for the sake of the other teen.]
. . . I confess I have no experience when it comes to such a difficult climate as this, though. Back on the set of Imeeji, we always had food. At worst, there were rations, and we earned points which was the currency of Tokyo-F. I suppose it is similar to what we use in ES?
[He makes a face.]
Regardless, this place is dangerous. At least outside of this town, it is. Some humanoid crocodile-like creatures attempted to eat me. None of the powers I received as a member of Avante en Garde have followed me into this place, and neither do my senses or wings work appropriately.
