[A short pink-haired girl is enthusiastically spitting sand out of her mouth; having woken up face down in the sand and mistaking the ground for something tasty thanks to whatever pleasant dream she'd been having. There's sand all over her clothes as well but she's put that aside for the moment in favor of trying desperately to get the sand off her tongue.]

Bwech-- tashts bwad. Uuuuuu--

[Her face is still contorted... at least for another half a minute before she starts to take in her surroundings properly. Her mouth closes more and her eyes widen instead.]

Work Like Rent is Due TOMORROW.

[This poor ruin has no idea what it's in for now that Otori Emu is on the job. Nor do the other innocent souls who might have ventured out this way hoping to collect some sugar for the local bakeries and confectioners. A tiny pink girl is dashing inside like an unstoppable force. Without an ounce of restraint she belts out enthusiastically--]

[She lifts her nose a little and sniffs a bit, like maybe her nose will lead her to the sugar. It can't hurt to try right...?]

[It feels so surreal and yet when she looks down at her phone to see the notification about the date... that doesn't feel strange at all. In fact she lights up; bouncing on her toes.]

--if I don't hurry I'm gonna be late! There are lots of other people around... sorry, sorry please let me through!

[The person she's looking for... he shouldn't be far from here, right? But she might bump into others looking for their dates or perhaps innocently strolling around in the process too.]

Well... I was sleeping and having lots of nice dreams about sweets... but when I woke up, I wasn't in my bed and I didn't recognize anything and the "sweets" I had been eating was actually sand--

[At least she answers truthfully and sincerely-- even if her retelling is simply her blurting out everything that happened as she recalls it whether it's really useful or not. Despite that, she laughs it off with a big smile.]

But I'm okay now!! I don't know what's going on but I'm sure someone will explain everything soon.

[ ...Honestly it's presumptuous of him to just judge her at this point but he dealt with her kind a lot that he kind of understand what he's in for with this girl. ]

I feel like a lot of us are in the same boat of not knowing what actually happened, but I understand your point. [ That smile is surprisingly contagious that Kurt can't help but smile a little, too. ] Do you need a hand?

--you mean it?! I wanna explore and search for answers! I wanna know all about this place and how I got here and if it has any connection to where I was before. And I wanna look for my friends too, of course.

[That's a lot to pack in but at least those things are all fairly closely related. Having someone who wants to help and join her makes her so happy.]

Oh but what about you? Is there anything you wanna do? If we work together we can definitely accomplish it all.

[ Alright, this is what he signed up for. Safe to say, this girl definitely reminds him of another Juna, but probably on steroid when it comes to being hyperactive. ]

Fortunately, your goal is pretty much the same as mine. I have a lot of question about this place myself and I'd like to see everything with my own eyes too. [ Though he doesn't offer her a hand because of his old ass family custom of 'Never get too touchy with a woman unless you're in relationship with her', he does offer her a relatively soft smile so she knows that there's no bad intention or anything. ]

[Introductions are a basic formality and yet she has to think for a moment about what she wants to say. In the end she beams and gives him her name. She doesn't seem bothered at all by the formality however.]

Hmm... if we're going to help each other find our friends, we should probably get to know them a little better. Once we find somewhere safe we can make a plan and talk a little more.
