I hope you will pardon my abruptness. I wish to discuss things with the people who can view this network.

It seems we have all been displaced from home. This place is desolate and shy of resources, with harsh weather and unknown dangers. It ...would be pertinent to find out everyone's skills and know how. Perhaps find a place where we might meet and discuss our survival.

While this place seems benign for now, it could change in a blink of an eye, and it would be awful to be caught unawares.

I have no desire to do any organizing myself, as I am wretched in dealing with people, but I would like to know if ...there is anyone here who is in need of anything special to survive or lacking in any necessities. I am not a fighter, but I am skilled in scavenging and I have no fear of small, underground spaces. It may not be much, but I can try to help.

Ah, no, forgive me. I would like to also know if ...there is anyone here who has been displaced more than once. If you came here not from your home, but from some other strange place. That is all.

I am still in the process of exploring the full scope of my body and its functions.

However, as I am a machine, I do not require the resources an organic being would. This should allow reallocation of any supplies or shelter to others who do.

While my time here has been brief, I believe I may have been built in order to function at optimum efficiency in a wide variety of climates. The one of this world may or may not be any problem for me.

However, only time will tell. In the event I begin to wear, I will likely repair some form of maintenance.

Admittedly, I am not aware of what that would entail.

Yes, all things do require maintenance of some sort, even beings that are organic, so this is reasonable to consider.

I am ...only a tinkerer who builds traps out of old appliances sometimes, so I do not think I will be of any use to you. However ...I can keep my ears to the floor and listen for anyone who may know more.
