[Niki isn't good at a lot of things, but if there's one thing he can do, it's foraging, so when the bakers ask for help, Niki is almost too enthusiastic to sign up. If anyone is nearby considering a job, Niki turns to them with enthusiasm:]

Are you thinking of heading to the ruins, too? I'll do anything when I'm hungry, but I'd like it a lot better if I didn't have to go alone!

[A few days have passed since their arrival and nothing has changed. They're still stuck here. Niki feels sick, and it's probably the lack of food, but it's not just that.]

If anyone is into hunting, could you maybe consider bringing me along? I don't like doing unnecessary things, but I think it might be important for me to learn. It's more like I'm afraid of what he'll do if I don't do it. He's a real tyrant! He's always threatening to burn down the places I work... He's seriously troublesome. But if I don't put up with it, who will?
