[Niki isn't good at a lot of things, but if there's one thing he can do, it's foraging, so when the bakers ask for help, Niki is almost too enthusiastic to sign up. If anyone is nearby considering a job, Niki turns to them with enthusiasm:]
Are you thinking of heading to the ruins, too? I'll do anything when I'm hungry, but I'd like it a lot better if I didn't have to go alone!

If anyone is into hunting, could you maybe consider bringing me along? I don't like doing unnecessary things, but I think it might be important for me to learn. A part of him is curious, definitely, but he's also afraid. But... if it's something he can't remember, and somehow, they're all still here, then maybe it's okay if he doesn't ask right now.]
I hope it's nothing, too. I think a lot of people would be pretty upset with me if I let something bad happen to you two! But I'm also glad none of us are alone here, either.
